Behold Calvin Klein’s Latest Shots of the Spectacular David Agbodji
Jul 30th
As far as bodies go, David Agbodji is like the Gisele of the male modeling world: His whole body is unreal, but his legs and behind are especially spectacular. Calvin Klein previously called attention to the splendor of his backside in its Madison Avenue windows, where a giant shot of Agdobji’s greasy rump once faced the tony street directly. In the fall, his same greasy gorgeousness faced down onto Houston from the Calvin Klein billboard there. Calvin hired Adbodji again to star in the fall campaign, in which he’s much more matte than wet-looking. See for yourself in the slideshow.

Zoe Saldana’s Sexy New Role: Calvin Klein Underwear Model!
Jul 11th
What gets between Zoe Saldana and her Calvins? Very little by the looks of her steamy new ad campaign for Calvin Klein Underwear. At a press conference in Germany today, the fashion label announced Saldana’s new starring role as the face of Calvin Klein Underwear and Calvin Klein Envy, the brand’s newest product launch, for fall 2010. “Calvin Klein has always put forth such beautifully executed campaigns,” the Avatar star says in a statement. “It’s very exciting for me to be associated with such an iconic, globally recognized brand like Calvin Klein Underwear.” Saldana’s sexy ads, which were shot by renowned fashion photographer Mikael Jansson in New York City, will make their debut in October 2010 fashion magazines as well as online and on outdoor signage at the same time. As Calvin Klein’s newest underwear model, Saldana will follow in the footsteps of steamy screen siren Eva Mendes who has sizzled in the label’s underwear, denim and fragrance campaigns since 2008. Levi’s is Offering 10 Grand For the Most Innovative Air-Drying Solutions
Jul 4th
Few companies know denim as well as Levi Strauss, but even the century-old jean giant has its limits. In alife-cycle analysis of its signature pant, Levi’s learned that 60 percent of its jeans’ ecological impact occurs after they leave the store, most of which comes from drying. In fact, denim lovers can slash their jeans’ environmental footprint by half simply by washing them in cold water and line-drying them after. Yet most Americans choose gas or electric dryers over the great outdoors. That’s where you come in. Levi’s is looking for a few good air-drying solutions, and it’s offering $10,000 for the best ideas.

CALLING ALL JEAN-IUSES!
The Care to Air Design Challenge, part of Levi’s updated sustainability program, expands on the denim label’s Care Tag for Our Planet campaign to encourage their customers to line-dry. Still, clotheslines remain more quaint than commonplace, whether it’s a matter of space, convenience, or aesthetics. Levi’s wants to challenge all three excuses by picking your brains for air-drying designs that are attractive, sustainable, and efficient.

WATCH MARC JACOBS TALK ABOUT THE VUlTTON FALL CAMPAlGN!
Jul 2nd
lt’s wrong to have favourites, but we have to admit that have totally fallen head over heels in love with the images from Louis Vuitton‘s A/W’10 ad campaign. Seems the luxury label’s creative director Marc Jacobs is equally pleased, as he tells us all about the thinking behind the images in this new short video about the making of the campaign. The chosen ‘faces’ for next season are like a retrospective of supermodels through the years - Christy Turlington, Karen Elson and Natalia Vodianova, or as Marc describes them “three of the most beautiful women, l think, in the world…. a blonde, brunette and a redhead.”
The set (for the Steven Meisel-photographed) shoot is a an old-fashioned dressing room, and Jacobs wanted “a cinematic feeling…. really a continuation of the spirit that we started with the show; that was a celebration of women and this joy and indulging in the qualities and the luxuries in the art of living that women get to enjoy …. ”
And of course, indulging in the Louis Vuitton ‘art of living’ includes “the beautiful quality of the bag and gorgeous feminine clothes”; mmm, we can just hear those fabuluxe bags snapping shut with a gratifying ‘clunk’. The campaign has also given us an instant craving for high ponytails and volumised skirts, because we all want to be, as Marc puts it; “just immaculately pretty girls… well, women…”
